Miira 8 Circular arranges eight hand blown glass globes into a flat, continuous ring, a distinctly different shape from the loosely clustered, staggered heights of the standard Miira chandeliers. Hung from the ceiling, it reads as a single hoop of light rather than a scatter of individual pendants.
Brass finish and optic clear glass
This version brings together a brass powder coated ring with optic clear glass globes, each carrying a fine embossed texture. Rather than diffusing light evenly, the optic glass lets the lamp itself show through with more sparkle and definition, and the brass tone adds warmth to the metal ring.
How it works
Eight G9 lamps (7W each) sit within the ring, which is suspended on a wire system allowing the hanging height to be adjusted, with cable enough for a drop of up to around 400cm. The ring spans roughly 100cm across and stands about 24.5cm deep, with a ceiling plate of around 14.8cm. As a hardwired fitting, it must be installed by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Its scale suits large dining tables, kitchen islands and open plan living spaces with a reasonably high ceiling, anywhere there's space beneath it to appreciate the full circular shape. The visible sparkle of the optic glass makes it a good option where you want the light source itself to read as part of the design.
