Nuura Miira 8 Light Circular Chandelier - Brass & Opal Glass

Miira 8 Circular takes eight of the collection's hand blown glass globes and arranges them around a slim metal ring, rather than clustering them at different heights the way most Miira chandeliers do. The result is a flat, hoop shaped silhouette that reads as a single continuous form from below, distinct from the more scattered, vertical grouping of the standard Miira chandeliers.

Brass finish and opal glass

This version sets opal white glass globes into a brass powder coated ring. The opal glass diffuses light softly and evenly across each globe, so the whole ring glows with a consistent, gentle light, while the brass tone adds a warm, slightly reflective edge to the metalwork.

How it works

Miira 8 Circular takes eight G9 lamps (7W each) and is supplied with a wire suspension system that lets you set the hanging height, with enough cable for a drop of up to around 400cm. The ring itself measures roughly 100cm across and about 24.5cm from top to bottom, with a ceiling plate of around 14.8cm. It's a hardwired fitting and must be connected by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its scale and shape make it a natural fit above a large dining table, a kitchen island, or in a stairwell or entrance hall with enough ceiling height to let the ring hang freely. It reads as a single sculptural piece, so it works best where there's room to appreciate the whole shape from below.

About Nuura

Nuura, founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, built the Miira collection around a single idea, simple hand blown glass globes on slender metal frames. The Circular versions take that idea and bend it into a ring.
