Nuura Miira 6 Light Circular Chandelier - Dark Bronze & Opal Glass

Miira 6 Circular arranges six hand blown glass globes around a slim metal ring, so instead of the vertical cluster you get with the standard Miira chandeliers, the globes sit flat within one wide circle. It is built to hang high or low depending on the room, using a simple wire suspension between the ring and the ceiling. It is also a genuinely large fitting, 800mm across with a suspension of up to 2500mm.

Dark bronze finish and opal glass

This version combines a dark bronze powder coated ring with six opal white glass globes. The opal glass diffuses light softly and evenly across the whole surface of each globe, giving a gentle, even glow rather than a sharp point of light, while the dark bronze finish gives the ring a warm, slightly matte depth rather than a shiny metal look.

How it works

Miira 6 Circular takes six G9 lamps (7W each). The ring itself measures around 80cm across, the fitting stands about 24.5cm high, and it hangs from a compact ceiling plate roughly 14.8cm in diameter. The suspension cable can be lengthened up to 250cm, so it can be hung high above a stairwell or brought low over a table. As a hardwired fitting, it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician.

Its flat, ring shaped silhouette makes Miira 6 Circular a natural fit above a round or rectangular dining table, where the six globes spread light evenly across the surface below. It also suits a sofa or an open plan living space, where its wide, low profile reads clearly from across the room.

About Nuura

Founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, Nuura built the Miira collection around a small set of hand blown glass shapes paired with simple metal frames. The Circular chandeliers take that same glass and rework it into a ring format, giving the collection a genuinely different silhouette alongside the more familiar vertical cluster.

Questions People Ask

How big is the Nuura Miira 6 Circular chandelier? The ring is 800mm in diameter and the fitting is 245mm high, with each globe 200mm across. The suspension can be set up to 2500mm, so please check the measurements against your space before ordering.

Does it need an electrician to install? We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is a hardwired Class I fitting with a ceiling plate 148mm across.

Which bulbs does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes six G9 LED lamps, 7W maximum each, which are not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps that suit your dimmer circuit.

Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

Will the opal glass look the same on every globe? Not exactly. The globes are mouth blown and hand finished, so small differences in shade and shape are normal, and colour looks different on different screens. Call customer service if you are unsure.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is rated IP20, which means dry indoor rooms only.
