Miira 6 Circular arranges six hand blown glass globes around a slim metal ring, so instead of the vertical cluster you get with the standard Miira chandeliers, the globes sit flat within one wide circle. It is built to hang high or low depending on the room, using a simple wire suspension between the ring and the ceiling.
Dark bronze finish and opal glass
This version combines a dark bronze powder coated ring with six opal white glass globes. The opal glass diffuses light softly and evenly across the whole surface of each globe, giving a gentle, even glow rather than a sharp point of light, while the dark bronze finish gives the ring a warm, slightly matte depth rather than a shiny metal look.
How it works
Miira 6 Circular takes six G9 lamps (7W each). The ring itself measures around 80cm across, the fitting stands about 24.5cm high, and it hangs from a compact ceiling plate roughly 14.8cm in diameter. The suspension cable can be lengthened up to 400cm, so it can be hung high above a stairwell or brought low over a table. As a hardwired fitting, it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Its flat, ring shaped silhouette makes Miira 6 Circular a natural fit above a round or rectangular dining table, where the six globes spread light evenly across the surface below. It also suits a sofa or an open plan living space, where its wide, low profile reads clearly from across the room.
About Nuura
Founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, Nuura built the Miira collection around a small set of hand blown glass shapes paired with simple metal frames. The Circular chandeliers take that same glass and rework it into a ring format, giving the collection a genuinely different silhouette alongside the more familiar vertical cluster.
