Nuura Miira 6 Light Chandelier - Brass & Optic Clear Glass

Miira 6 brings together six hand blown glass globes on a single ceiling plate, each on its own length of cable so the cluster can be arranged with globes at slightly different heights. It's a vertical, layered shape, distinct from the flat ring silhouette of the Circular chandeliers elsewhere in the range.

Here, a brass ceiling plate holds six optic clear glass globes, each with a fine embossed pattern that gives the light a livelier, more sparkling quality than a plain diffuser. The warm brass tone adds a touch of richness to the metalwork against the visible glint of the glass.

How it works

This chandelier takes six G9 lamps (7W each). The ceiling plate is around 32cm across, with the globes spreading to roughly 35cm overall, and each globe measures about 14cm in diameter. Cable is long enough for a drop of up to around 250cm per pendant. Being hardwired, it must be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its scale works well above a dining table, a kitchen island or in a stairwell, giving a cluster of light without the scale or spread of the larger Miira chandeliers.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, Nuura built the Miira collection around a single glass form used across pendants and chandeliers of different sizes, Miira 6 being one of the most popular middle sized options.
