Miira 6 gathers six hand blown glass globes into a vertical cluster on one ceiling plate, sitting between the compact Miira 4 and the much larger Miira 13 in scale. It keeps the collection's light, narrow silhouette while giving enough spread of light for a proper dining table. The drop is long, with a suspension cable adjustable up to 2500mm.
Brass finish and opal glass
This version combines a brass finish with six opal white glass globes. The opal glass diffuses light evenly through each globe for a soft, gentle glow rather than a sharp highlight, and the brass frame catches that glow along its curves, giving the metalwork a warm shimmer of its own.
How it works
Miira 6 takes six G9 lamps (7W each). The glass globes measure roughly 14cm across, the fitting stands around 34.5cm high with an overall diameter of about 35cm, and it gathers at a ceiling plate roughly 34cm wide. The suspension cable can be adjusted up to 250cm. It is a hardwired fitting and must be connected by a qualified electrician.
Where it works best
Its mid sized cluster suits a standard dining table, a kitchen table, or a living room where a single vertical chandelier is wanted rather than several separate pendants. It also works well in an entrance hall with a moderate ceiling height, where its narrow footprint keeps it from feeling too imposing.
About Nuura
Sofie Refer founded Nuura in Copenhagen in 2017 together with Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, and went on to design the Miira collection around a small set of hand blown glass shapes. Miira 6 sits comfortably in the middle of the standard, vertical chandelier sizes, sharing its glass and metalwork with the smaller Miira 3 and 4 and the larger Miira 13.

Questions People Ask
Who should install the Nuura Miira 6 chandelier? The Miira 6 is a hardwired Class I fitting. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.
Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
What light source does it use, and can it be dimmed? It takes six G9 LED lamps of up to 7W each, which are not supplied and can be replaced. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps suitable for your dimmer circuit.
How long is the drop? The suspension cable is adjustable up to 2500mm. The cluster itself is about 345mm high and 350mm across, with a ceiling plate 340mm wide and 41mm deep.
Will the glass and brass look identical to the photos? Not exactly. The opal glass is mouth blown and the metalwork is hand finished, so small differences in shape and tone are normal, and screens show colour differently. Please call customer service if you are unsure.
Can I use it in a bathroom? No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only, such as a dining room, hallway or stairwell.
