Nuura Miira 6 Light Chandelier - Brass & Opal Glass

Miira 6 gathers six hand blown glass globes into a vertical cluster on one ceiling plate, sitting between the compact Miira 4 and the much larger Miira 13 in scale. It keeps the collection's light, narrow silhouette while giving enough spread of light for a proper dining table.

Brass finish and opal glass

This version combines a brass finish with six opal white glass globes. The opal glass diffuses light evenly through each globe for a soft, gentle glow rather than a sharp highlight, and the brass frame catches that glow along its curves, giving the metalwork a warm shimmer of its own.

How it works

Miira 6 takes six G9 lamps (7W each). The glass globes measure roughly 14cm across, the fitting stands around 34.5cm high with an overall diameter of about 35cm, and it gathers at a ceiling plate roughly 32cm wide. The suspension cable can be adjusted up to 250cm. It is a hardwired fitting and must be connected by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its mid sized cluster suits a standard dining table, a kitchen table, or a living room where a single vertical chandelier is wanted rather than several separate pendants. It also works well in an entrance hall with a moderate ceiling height, where its narrow footprint keeps it from feeling too imposing.

About Nuura

Sofie Refer founded Nuura in Copenhagen in 2017 together with Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, and went on to design the Miira collection around a small set of hand blown glass shapes. Miira 6 sits comfortably in the middle of the standard, vertical chandelier sizes, sharing its glass and metalwork with the smaller Miira 3 and 4 and the larger Miira 13.
