Nuura Miira 4 Light Chandelier - Brass & Opal Glass

Miira 4 brings together four hand blown glass globes in a slim, upright cluster, giving the impression of a chandelier at a much smaller, more manageable scale. Its narrow footprint means it can sit somewhere a wider fitting simply would not fit.

This version sets four opal white glass globes against a brass finish. The opal glass diffuses light evenly through the whole globe for a soft, gentle glow, while the brass picks up that light along its curves, giving the metalwork its own warm shimmer rather than staying flat.

How it works

Miira 4 takes four G9 lamps (7W each). The fitting measures around 46.5cm high and about 38cm across overall, with a suspension cable that adjusts up to 250cm. According to Nuura's own specifications, a ceiling plate is not included with this size, so let us know if you need one supplied alongside the fitting. It is hardwired and needs to be installed by a qualified electrician.

Where it works best

Its compact scale suits a small dining table, a breakfast bar, or a bedside spot where an elegant cluster of light is wanted without the size of the larger Miira chandeliers. Two placed side by side also work well spaced along a longer kitchen island.

Nuura is a Danish lighting brand founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, with Sofie Refer as the designer behind Miira. In brass, Miira 4 takes on a warmer, more golden character than the cooler rock grey or dark bronze versions, while keeping the same compact glass cluster.

Questions People Ask

How big is the Nuura Miira 4 chandelier? It is about 465mm high and 380mm across, with each glass globe 140mm in diameter. The suspension cable adjusts up to 2500mm.

Does it need a qualified electrician to install? Yes. It is a hardwired Class I fitting. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

What bulbs does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes four G9 LED lamps of up to 7W each, which are not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps that suit your dimmer circuit.

Will the glass and brass look identical to the photos? Not exactly. The globes are mouth blown opal glass and the brass finish is hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal, and screens show colour differently. Call customer service if you are unsure about size or colour.

Can I return it? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

Can it be used in a bathroom, and how do I clean it? It is IP20 rated, so it is for dry indoor rooms only. Clean it with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and avoid household cleaning products or detergents.
