Nuura Miira 13 Light Chandelier - Rock Grey & Optic Clear Glass

Miira 13 gathers thirteen individual glass pendants onto one wide ceiling plate, so rather than a single arm you get a loose cluster of slender globes that can be arranged to suit the ceiling below. It is one of the largest fittings in the Miira range and reads as a proper centrepiece rather than a single pendant light.

Rock grey finish and optic clear glass

This version pairs a rock grey powder coated finish with optic clear glass globes. The glass carries a subtle embossed texture that catches and scatters light rather than diffusing it evenly, so each globe sparkles gently once lit, while the rock grey metal keeps the overall look understated and contemporary next to the glass.

How it works

Each of the thirteen globes takes a single G9 lamp (7W), so the fitting runs on thirteen lamps in total. The glass globes measure roughly 14cm across, the fitting sits around 34.5cm high, and the pendants spread to an overall diameter of about 92cm, suspended from a ceiling plate roughly 87cm across. The cable can be adjusted up to 250cm, so the globes can be set higher or lower to suit the room. It is a hardwired fitting and needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in.

Where it works best

Given its scale, Miira 13 suits generous spaces, above a long dining table, in a stairwell, or across a double height hallway, where there is enough room for the pendants to spread out and be seen properly from below. Because the individual globes can be arranged rather than fixed in one formation, it also adapts well to less symmetrical ceilings, such as a corner or an alcove.

Sofie Refer designed the Miira collection around simple, hand blown glass and quietly crafted metalwork, and Miira 13 is one of the boldest expressions of that idea, built for spaces where a single small pendant would not be enough.
