Nuura Miira 13 Light Chandelier - Brass & Opal White Glass

Miira 13 is one of the largest pieces in Nuura's Miira collection, a chandelier built from thirteen individual mouth blown glass globes suspended from a single round ceiling plate. Rather than a solid cluster, each globe hangs on its own cable, so the whole piece reads as light and airy despite its scale, a genuinely room defining fixture for a space with the height and volume to suit it.

Brass finish and opal white glass

This version pairs a warm, polished brass ceiling plate and fittings with opal white glass across all thirteen globes. The opal glass diffuses the light evenly through each sphere, so the whole arrangement gives off a soft, even glow rather than individual points of sparkle, while the brass adds a warm, luxurious note even before the lights are switched on.

How it works

Each of the thirteen globes takes its own G9 lamp, rated up to 7W, and can be adjusted individually along its cable, up to 250cm long, so the whole chandelier can be arranged to suit the height of your room, whether that's a formal, even ring or a looser, staggered composition. It's a hardwired fixture and must be connected by a qualified electrician. It's rated IP20, so it's designed for dry indoor spaces only. The ceiling plate measures around 86.9cm across, with the arrangement of globes spreading to roughly 92cm, and each glass globe measuring about 14cm.

Where it works best

Given its scale, Miira 13 suits double height stairwells, large dining rooms, or entrance halls where it can be seen and appreciated from below as well as at eye level. It's a serious investment piece intended to anchor a room rather than sit quietly in the background.

• As with all Nuura fittings, this piece is non-returnable once ordered unless it arrives faulty.
• IP20 rated: for dry indoor rooms only, not suitable for bathrooms or other wet areas.
• Hardwired fitting, must be installed by a registered electrician.
• Each of the thirteen globes takes one G9 lamp (max 7W), bulbs not included. Supplied with a ceiling plate and up to 250cm of cable per globe.
• Clean with a soft, dry cloth only, avoid household cleaning products on the glass or metal.
