Nuura Liila 7 Light Wall/Flush Light - Nordic Gold & Opal Glass

Liila 7 takes the single sphere idea behind Nuura's Liila collection and repeats it seven times, each mouth blown glass globe held on its own small circular backplate in warm golden metal. Arranged along a slim vertical or horizontal run, it reads as much as a piece of wall sculpture as a light source, equally at home switched off as it is glowing. It's a flexible, modular fixture that can be installed as a single elongated strip or grouped with other Liila 7 units to build a larger composition.

Nordic Gold and opal glass

This version combines the warm, brushed Nordic Gold finish with opal white glass across all seven globes. Opal glass diffuses the light evenly through the whole surface of each sphere, so the run reads as a soft, continuous string of gentle light rather than seven individual points, while the golden discs behind them add a quiet warmth even when the lamp is off.

How it works

Each of the seven arms takes its own G9 lamp, rated up to 7W, and the lamps themselves aren't included so you can choose the exact colour temperature and dimmable option you prefer. Liila 7 is a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician, and it's rated IP20, which means it's intended for dry indoor spaces only. The fitting measures roughly 94.3cm by 55.4cm, with each backplate around 10.3cm across and the whole piece projecting about 16.8cm from the wall.

Where it works best

Liila 7 suits a run along a dining room or living room wall, above a headboard, or down a long hallway where you want a continuous, sculptural line of light rather than a single fitting. Because it can be mounted vertically or horizontally, it also works well turned on its side above a console or sideboard.

About Nuura

Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by designer Sofie Refer together with Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, and has built its name on mouth blown glass paired with warm metal finishes. The Liila collection puts that combination to playful use, multiplying a single glass sphere into runs and clusters like this one.
