Nuura Liila 12 Light Wall/Flush Light - Nordic Gold & Optic Clear Glass

Liila 12 takes the single sphere idea behind the rest of the Liila collection and multiplies it into a full wall or ceiling installation, twelve individually mouth blown glass globes held on a network of slim, circular metal discs. It reads less like a light fitting and more like a piece of wall art that happens to glow, built to make a real statement in a room with the scale to take it.

Nordic gold and optic clear glass

This version finishes every backplate in Nordic Gold, a warm, brushed golden metal, paired with optic clear glass across all twelve globes. The clear glass catches and scatters light unevenly across each sphere, so the whole arrangement sparkles and flickers slightly as you move around the room, rather than glowing in one flat wash. Against a plain wall it becomes the main event of a space, matched by the individual character of each mouth blown globe, no two ever quite identical.

How it works

Liila 12 is built around twelve G9 lamps (7W each), arranged across a metal grid roughly 84.5cm wide and 84.5cm tall. It's a hardwired fitting, so it must be installed by a qualified electrician, and given its scale, the wall or ceiling structure should be checked as suitable for mounting before installation. It's rated IP20, meaning it's intended for dry indoor spaces only.

Where it works best

This is a piece for a room with the space to let it breathe, a stairwell, a double height hallway, above a dining table, or as the focal point of a large living space. It works best where it can be seen from a distance, rather than tucked into a small corner.

About Nuura

Nuura, the Danish lighting brand behind Liila, was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg. Liila 12 is one of the more ambitious pieces in its catalogue, taking the brand's signature mouth blown glass and warm metal finishes and building them into something closer to a modular chandelier.
