Blossi 8 gathers eight of Nuura's signature flat, mouth blown glass shades across a wide, low profile chandelier, each shade concealing its own integrated LED so the light source itself stays out of view. Nuura describes the design as inspired by the golden light of autumn leaves, and it reads as a soft, horizontal spread of glow rather than a tall, hanging fitting.
Nordic Gold and clear glass
The metal discs housing the LED cards are finished in Nordic Gold, paired with eight clear, mouth blown glass shades. Light reflects off the golden disc inside each shade before it reaches the room, giving an indirect, warm glow rather than a direct beam.
How it works
Blossi 8 uses a low voltage, integrated LED system across its eight shades, specified by Nuura at 6W in total. The suspension wires allow each shade to be set at a slightly different height, and the cable can be adjusted up to 400cm to suit the ceiling. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 103cm across but only 11cm tall, Blossi 8 sits low and wide, making it well suited to a dining table, a long kitchen island, or a living room where a broad, gentle spread of light matters more than height. It works as a genuine centrepiece in a room with the width to carry it.
