Nuura Apiales Hard-Wired Wall Light - Satin Black & Opal Glass

Apiales Hard-Wired Wall is the fully recessed version of Nuura's Apiales wall light, a single mouth blown glass globe on a slim curved metal arm, wired directly into the wall's electrics for a flatter, more discreet fit than the standard Apiales Wall. Nuura describes it as a single small flower picked from the Apiales chandelier.

Satin black and opal glass

The arm here is finished in satin black, holding a globe in opal white glass. The opal glass diffuses light softly and evenly, while the smaller, flatter backplate of this hard-wired version keeps the fitting sitting close and flush against the wall.

How it works

Apiales Hard-Wired Wall takes a single G9 lamp rated at 5W. Unlike the standard Apiales Wall, which can also take an optional plug in cable kit, this version is built specifically to be wired directly into the electrical wiring in the wall, with no cable or plug option, so it must be connected by a qualified electrician. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only, so it isn't intended for bathrooms or other damp locations.

Where it works best

At 22cm high with a 17.5cm arm and a compact 7cm backplate, this version suits a bedside, hallway or entrance where a fully flush, cable free finish is preferred over a wall light with any visible cabling.
