Apiales 9 is a fuller expression of Nuura's floral chandelier, nine slender metal arms unfolding from a central stem like flower stalks, each carrying its own mouth blown glass globe. It hangs on an adjustable cable, giving a modern reinterpretation of a traditional chandelier shape.
Satin black and opal glass
The nine arms are finished in satin black, each holding a globe in opal white glass. The dark metal recedes visually, so the soft, even glow of the mouth blown opal glass becomes the focus rather than the frame holding it.
How it works
Apiales 9 takes nine G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 45W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. The cable can be adjusted up to 400cm, so the drop height can be set to suit the room, and the ceiling plate is 14.5cm across. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 59.5cm in diameter, Apiales 9 suits a dining room or living room where a chandelier is the natural focal point, or a stairwell with enough height to let the arms and glass be seen properly from below.
