Apiales 9 Ceiling brings nine mouth blown glass globes together on a single stem mounted close to the ceiling, each arm unfolding outward like a flower stalk. Set semi flush rather than hanging on a cable, it has a lower, more compact profile than the standard Apiales 9 chandelier.
Satin black and opal glass
The nine arms here are finished in satin black, each holding a globe in opal white glass. The dark metal keeps the structure quiet, letting the soft, even glow of the mouth blown opal glass take the attention.
How it works
Apiales 9 Ceiling takes nine G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 45W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. Unlike the hanging Apiales 9 chandelier, this version has no adjustable cable drop, mounting semi flush on a 14.5cm ceiling plate at just under 40cm tall. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 59.5cm in diameter, Apiales 9 Ceiling makes a strong statement in a room where ceiling height won't allow for a hanging chandelier, over a dining table, in a hallway, or above a staircase landing with a lower ceiling.
