Apiales 9 Ceiling brings nine mouth blown glass globes together on a single stem mounted close to the ceiling, each arm unfolding outward like a flower stalk. Set semi flush rather than hanging on a cable, it has a lower, more compact profile than the standard Apiales 9 chandelier.
Brushed brass and optic gold glass
The nine arms here are finished in brushed brass, each holding a globe in optic gold glass. Nuura describes the glass as having a soft, diced pattern on the inside, which gives the light a warm, golden cast rather than a plain white glow.
How it works
Apiales 9 Ceiling takes nine G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 45W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. Unlike the hanging Apiales 9 chandelier, this version has no adjustable cable drop, mounting semi flush on a 14.5cm ceiling plate at just under 40cm tall. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.

At 59.5cm in diameter, Apiales 9 Ceiling makes a strong statement in a room where ceiling height won't allow for a hanging chandelier, over a dining table, in a hallway, or above a staircase landing with a lower ceiling.

Does the Nuura Apiales 9 Ceiling Light need an electrician? Yes, it is a hardwired fixture and cannot be plugged in. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.
Can I return it? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
What bulbs does it use and can it be dimmed? It takes nine G9 LED lamps of up to 5W each, 45W in total. The lamps are not supplied and the light source is not integrated. It can be dimmed if fitted with dimmable LED lamps suitable for your dimmer circuit.
How big is it? It is 595mm in diameter and 399mm tall, with a 145mm ceiling plate. Each globe is 120mm across, and the fitting weighs 4kg.
Will the glass look exactly like the photos? The optic gold glass is mouth blown and hand finished, so each piece differs slightly in colour and pattern. The warm golden tone also looks different when lit, and screens render colour differently. Please call customer service if you are unsure about the colour.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor rooms only.
