Nuura Apiales 6 Light Chandelier - Satin Black & Opal Glass

Apiales 6 is a smaller, hanging interpretation of Sofie Refer's branching Apiales design, with six slender metal arms radiating from a central point on an adjustable cable, each one carrying a small glass globe. It's a lighter, more domestic scale version of the larger Apiales 9 and 18 chandeliers, suited to rooms where a full ceiling mounted fitting would be too much.

Satin black and opal glass

This version pairs the satin black metal finish with pure opal white mouth blown glass globes. The opal glass gives an even, soft glow from each globe, and against the dark metal arms the six glass buds stand out clearly, giving the fixture a graphic, contemporary look.

How it works

Apiales 6 takes six G9 lamps, each rated up to 5W, so you can choose LED lamps to suit the brightness you want. It's rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only. It hangs from a 10cm ceiling plate on cable adjustable up to 400cm, and measures around 26.3cm high by 50cm across once installed, so the drop can be set to suit the ceiling height and the table or surface below.

Where it works best

Above a dining table, kitchen island, or as a softer centrepiece in a living room where the larger Apiales chandeliers would overwhelm the space.

Questions People Ask

Can I install the Nuura Apiales 6 chandelier myself? We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is hardwired to the ceiling supply and hangs from a 10cm ceiling plate.

Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

What bulbs does it use and can it be dimmed? It takes six G9 lamps, each rated up to 5W, and the lamps are not included. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps that suit your dimmer circuit.

How low does it hang and how wide is it? It is around 26.3cm high and 50cm across, with each globe about 12cm in diameter. The cable adjusts up to 400cm, so the drop can be set to suit your ceiling height.

Will the opal glass look exactly the same on every piece? Not exactly. The globes are mouth blown and hand finished, so small differences in shape and tone are part of the character. Screens also show opal white differently, and our customer service team can help if you are unsure.

Can I use it in a bathroom? No. It is rated IP20, which means dry indoor rooms only, such as a dining room, living room, hallway or bedroom.
