Apiales 6 is a smaller, hanging interpretation of Sofie Refer's branching Apiales design, with six slender metal arms radiating from a central point on an adjustable cable, each one carrying a small glass globe. It's a lighter, more domestic scale version of the larger Apiales 9 and 18 chandeliers, suited to rooms where a full ceiling mounted fitting would be too much.
Satin black and opal glass
This version pairs the satin black metal finish with pure opal white mouth blown glass globes. The opal glass gives an even, soft glow from each globe, and against the dark metal arms the six glass buds stand out clearly, giving the fixture a graphic, contemporary look.
How it works
Apiales 6 takes six G9 lamps, each rated up to 5W, so you can choose LED lamps to suit the brightness you want. It's rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only. It hangs from a 10cm ceiling plate on cable adjustable up to 400cm, and measures around 26.3cm high by 50cm across once installed, so the drop can be set to suit the ceiling height and the table or surface below.
Where it works best
Above a dining table, kitchen island, or as a softer centrepiece in a living room where the larger Apiales chandeliers would overwhelm the space.
About Nuura
Nuura, founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer with Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, builds its collections around mouth blown glass and warm metal finishes rather than standardised parts.

- Hardwired fixture, must be installed by a registered electrician. Moonlight Design recommends a registered NICEIC electrician.
