Nuura Apiales 6 Light Chandelier - Brushed Brass & Opal Glass

Apiales 6 is Nuura's take on the classic chandelier, six slender metal arms unfolding like flower stalks from a central stem, each carrying a small mouth blown glass globe. It hangs on an adjustable cable, giving it the presence of a chandelier without the visual weight of a heavier fitting.

Here the arms are finished in brushed brass, holding six globes in opal white glass. The mouth blown opal glass has a soft, even opacity that spreads a gentle glow across the room rather than letting the bulbs show through as sharp points of light.

How it works

Apiales 6 takes six G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 30W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. The cable can be adjusted up to 400cm, so the drop height can be set to suit the room, and the ceiling plate is a compact 10cm across. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.

Where it works best

At 50cm in diameter, Apiales 6 is a good scale for a dining table, a kitchen island, or a bedroom where a chandelier adds character without dominating the room. The adjustable drop makes it easy to hang lower over a table or higher in a room with more generous ceilings.

Questions People Ask

Does the Nuura Apiales 6 need an electrician to fit? It is a hardwired ceiling fitting. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is Class I, so it must be earthed.

Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

What bulbs does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes six G9 LED lamps of up to 5W each, 30W in total. The lamps are not supplied. It can be dimmed if you fit dimmable LED lamps that suit your dimmer circuit.

How big is it, and how low can it hang? The chandelier is 50cm across, with six globes of 12cm diameter. The cable adjusts up to 400cm, and the ceiling plate is 10cm across.

Will the glass look the same as the photos? The globes are mouth blown opal glass and the brass finish is hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal. Opal glass can also look different lit and unlit, and screens render colour differently. If you are unsure, please call customer service.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors? No. It is rated IP20, which means dry indoor rooms only.
