Apiales 6 Ceiling is the flush mounted member of Nuura's Apiales family, six slender metal arms unfolding like flower stalks from a single canopy set close against the ceiling. Rather than hanging on a cable, the whole fixture sits compact and self contained, each arm ending in a small mouth blown glass globe.
Brushed brass and optic gold glass
The arms here are finished in brushed brass, carrying six globes in optic gold glass. Nuura describes the glass as having a soft, diced texture on the inside, which catches the light and gives it a warm, golden cast reminiscent of late afternoon sun rather than a flat white glow.
How it works
Apiales 6 Ceiling takes six G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 30W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. Unlike the standard hanging Apiales 6 chandelier, this version has no adjustable cable drop. It mounts flush to the ceiling on a 14.5cm canopy, standing just 29cm tall, which makes it a better fit for rooms with lower ceilings. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 50cm in diameter, Apiales 6 Ceiling works well in a hallway, a bedroom, or above a dining table in a room where ceiling height rules out a hanging chandelier. Its close to the ceiling profile also suits sloped or low ceilings where a dropped fitting wouldn't sit comfortably.
