Apiales 18 is the largest chandelier in Nuura's Apiales collection, Sofie Refer's branching design in which eighteen slender metal arms radiate from a central point, each one carrying a small glass globe. It's built to fill a genuinely large space, whether that's a tall stairwell or a long dining table. It is also a genuinely large fitting, 890mm across.
Satin black and opal glass
This version combines the satin black finish, a matte, deep black metal, with pure opal white mouth blown glass globes. The contrast between the dark arms and the pale, glowing globes gives this version a more graphic, contemporary look than the brushed brass alternative, while the opal glass still gives an even, soft light from every globe.
How it works
Apiales 18 takes eighteen G9 lamps, each rated up to 5W, giving plenty of scope to choose LED lamps for the brightness and warmth you want. It's rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only. It hangs from a 14.5cm ceiling plate on cable adjustable up to 400cm, and measures around 48cm high by 89cm across once installed.

Grand entrance halls, double height stairwells, or suspended above a large dining table.

How big is the Nuura Apiales 18 chandelier? It is 890mm across and 480mm high, with a 145mm ceiling plate. It is a large fitting, so please check these measurements against your space before ordering.
How long can the cable drop be? The cable is adjustable up to 400cm, which suits a double height stairwell or hall.
Does it need a qualified electrician to install? Yes. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting. It is hardwired to the ceiling and is Class I.
What lamps does it take and can it be dimmed? It takes eighteen G9 LED lamps, each up to 5W, which are not included. It can be dimmed if you use dimmable lamps suitable for your dimmer circuit.
Will the opal glass look the same on every globe? The globes are mouth blown and hand finished, so small differences between pieces are normal. Opal glass can look different lit and unlit, and screens show colour differently. If you are unsure, please call customer service.
Can I return it? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.
