Apiales 18 is the largest chandelier in Nuura's Apiales family, eighteen slender metal arms unfolding outward like flower stalks from a central stem, each carrying its own mouth blown glass globe. It's a genuine statement piece, built for rooms with the scale to match.
Brushed brass and optic gold glass
The eighteen arms are finished in brushed brass, each holding a globe in optic gold glass. Nuura describes the glass as having a soft, diced texture on the inside, giving the light a warm, golden quality across the whole spread of the fixture rather than eighteen individual points of light.
How it works
Apiales 18 takes eighteen G9 lamps, each rated at 5W, for 90W in total. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in. The cable can be adjusted up to 400cm, allowing the drop height to be set for anything from a double height stairwell to a high ceilinged living room. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 89cm in diameter, Apiales 18 needs generous space around it, a large dining room, an entrance hall, or a stairwell where it can be seen from more than one level. It's the kind of fixture that becomes the focal point of a room rather than sitting quietly in the background.
