Apiales 18 is the largest chandelier in Nuura's Apiales collection, a branching design by Sofie Refer in which eighteen slender metal arms radiate from a central point, each one carrying a small glass globe like a bud on a flower stalk. It's a genuinely architectural piece, built to hang low over a large table or fill a tall stairwell with light.
Brushed brass and opal glass
This version combines the brushed brass finish, a soft, warm gold toned metal, with pure opal white mouth blown glass globes. The opal glass gives an even, milky glow from every globe, while the brushed brass arms catch the light along their length, so the fixture reads as warm and textured even before the lamps are switched on.
How it works
Apiales 18 takes eighteen G9 lamps, each rated up to 5W, giving you plenty of scope to choose LED lamps for the exact brightness and warmth you want. It's rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only. The fixture hangs from a 14.5cm ceiling plate on cable that can be adjusted up to 400cm, so the drop height can be set to suit the room, and measures around 48cm high by 89cm across once installed.
Where it works best
Grand entrance halls, double height stairwells, or suspended above a large dining table where its full spread of arms can be appreciated.

Nuura was founded in Copenhagen in 2017 by designer Sofie Refer alongside Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, and has built its reputation on mouth blown glass paired with warm, considered metalwork.

- Hardwired fixture, must be installed by a registered electrician. Moonlight Design recommends a registered NICEIC electrician.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth only, no household cleaners.
