Apiales 1 Large is the bigger sibling of Nuura's single globe Apiales pendant, a wider mouth blown glass shade hanging from a slim metal suspension and cord. It keeps the same clean, uncluttered silhouette as the standard Apiales 1, just with more presence.
Satin black and opal glass
This version pairs a satin black metal suspension with a larger globe in opal white glass. The opal glass diffuses light evenly across its wider surface, giving a soft, even glow rather than a concentrated point of brightness, while the black fittings stay quietly in the background.
How it works
Apiales 1 Large takes a single G9 lamp rated at 5W. It's a hardwired fixture, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in, and the cord can be adjusted up to 250cm. The ceiling plate is not included, so a compatible canopy should be sourced separately. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 31.6cm high and 20cm in diameter, Apiales 1 Large works well as a single pendant over a small dining table or in a hallway, or hung in a row for a run of even, well spaced light along a kitchen island or long table.
