Apiales 1 Large takes the simplest pendant in Sofie Refer's Apiales collection and scales up the glass globe, giving a single, more generously sized shade on a slim brushed brass stem rather than the branching, multi arm chandelier versions.
Brushed brass and opal glass
This version combines the brushed brass finish with a large pure opal white mouth blown glass globe. The bigger globe gives a fuller, more rounded glow than the smaller Apiales 1 pendant, while the brushed brass stem and gold fabric covered cord keep the fixture feeling light rather than heavy.
How it works
Apiales 1 Large takes a single G9 lamp, rated up to 5W, so you can choose an LED lamp for the brightness you want. It's rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms only. The globe measures around 31.6cm high and 20cm across, supplied with up to 250cm of cable. A ceiling rose is available as an option; without it, the fixture needs a separate canopy at installation.
Where it works best
As a single statement drop over a side table or reading chair, or grouped at staggered heights above a dining table or kitchen island.
About Nuura
Nuura, established in Copenhagen in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg, works primarily in mouth blown glass and warm metal finishes made in small batches.

- IP20 rated: for dry indoor rooms only, not suitable for bathrooms.
- Takes 1 G9 lamp, rated up to 5W (lamp not included).
- Available with or without a ceiling rose; without it, a separate canopy is needed at installation.
- Hardwired fixture, must be installed by a registered electrician. Moonlight Design recommends a registered NICEIC electrician.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth only, no household cleaners.
