Anoli Medium is a drop shaped pendant from Danish lighting house Nuura, with a slender silhouette that Nuura describes as inspired by a peaceful, snow covered winter landscape. A single mouth blown glass shade hangs from fine golden metal detailing and a fabric covered cable, giving a soft glow that works equally well alone or gathered in a row.
Nordic Gold and opal glass
This version pairs warm Nordic Gold metal fittings with a shade in opal white glass. The mouth blown glass has a gentle, even opacity that diffuses the light rather than letting it shine directly, giving a calm, welcoming glow rather than a sharp point of light.
How it works
Anoli Medium takes a single E14 lamp rated at 25W. It's a hardwired pendant, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in, and the cable can be adjusted up to 250cm to suit your ceiling height. The ceiling plate is not included, so a compatible canopy should be sourced separately. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.
Where it works best
At 38.7cm high and 19cm in diameter, Anoli Medium suits a kitchen table, a reading corner, or a hallway where a single, considered pendant makes more sense than a larger fitting. Several hung together at slightly different heights above a dining table or kitchen island also work well, echoing the way Nuura suggests using the design.
