Anoli Medium is a drop shaped pendant from Danish lighting house Nuura, with a slender silhouette that Nuura describes as inspired by a peaceful, snow covered winter landscape. A single mouth blown glass shade hangs from fine golden metal detailing and a fabric covered cable, giving a soft glow that works equally well alone or gathered in a row.

This version pairs warm Nordic Gold metal fittings with a shade in opal white glass. The mouth blown glass has a gentle, even opacity that diffuses the light rather than letting it shine directly, giving a calm, welcoming glow rather than a sharp point of light.

How it works

Anoli Medium takes a single E14 lamp rated at 25W. It's a hardwired pendant, so it needs to be connected by a qualified electrician rather than plugged in, and the cable can be adjusted up to 250cm to suit your ceiling height. The ceiling plate is not included, so a compatible canopy should be sourced separately. It's rated IP20, designed for dry indoor spaces only.

Where it works best

At 38.7cm high and 19cm in diameter, Anoli Medium suits a kitchen table, a reading corner, or a hallway where a single, considered pendant makes more sense than a larger fitting. Several hung together at slightly different heights above a dining table or kitchen island also work well, echoing the way Nuura suggests using the design.

Does the Nuura Anoli Medium need an electrician to install? It is a hardwired ceiling pendant. We always recommend a qualified electrician installs this fitting.

Can I return it if I change my mind? No. Nuura fittings are made to order, so they are non-returnable once ordered, unless an item arrives faulty.

What bulb does it take, and can it be dimmed? It takes one E14 LED lamp, up to 25W, which is not supplied. It can be dimmed if fitted with a dimmable LED lamp suitable for your dimmer circuit.

Will every shade look exactly the same? Not quite. The opal glass is mouth blown by hand, so small differences in shape and finish between pieces are normal. Screens also show colour differently, so please call customer service if you are unsure about exact size or colour.
