A Handmade Copper Lantern That Lights the Ground Below

The Chelsea down wall lantern gives the same Victorian silhouette as the rest of the range, but directs its light downward, pooling it at ground level rather than washing the wall above.

Choosing Copper

Left polished and unlacquered, the copper body will darken and patina naturally from the moment it's installed, moving from a bright finish through darker brown tones over time.

How It Works

The lantern measures roughly 250mm wide, projects 410mm from the wall and stands 690mm tall, weighing 4kg. It takes 1 x LED E27 lamp (not included) behind a clear polycarbonate lens and carries an IP44 rating.

Where It Works Best

Downward light suits an entrance or porch where pooling light at the doorstep matters more than washing the wall itself, and pairs well with the matching Chelsea up light either side of a door.
