The Chelsea Grande lamp post pairs a handmade copper lantern head with a tall aluminium post, giving a genuine period lamp post silhouette rather than a modern bollard. It's built to mark an entrance or driveway rather than blend quietly into the garden.

Choosing the Grande in Copper

The Grande post is adjustable, standing between 2300mm and 3200mm depending on how it's set, with a 220mm base plate for a secure footing. The copper head is left polished and unlacquered, so it darkens and patinas naturally from the moment it's installed.

How It Works

The lantern head takes 1 x LED E27 lamp (not included) behind a clear polycarbonate lens, sits on a black powder coated aluminium post, and weighs 8kg in total. It carries an IP44 rating. Norlys backs it with a 10 year warranty against structural failure on the copper and a 5 year warranty against corrosion on the aluminium post and brackets.

Its height and traditional shape suit period properties with the space for genuine architectural presence, marking a gateway, the start of a driveway, or standing either side of an entrance.
