It houses a single ES/E27 lamp holder, with the lamp itself sold separately, wrapped by a clear ribbed glass diffuser that softens and spreads the light rather than letting it glare straight out. All wiring enters through a cable gland at the rear, so once it is mounted there is nothing visible at the front but the fixture and its glow.
