A Lighthouse Keeper's Glow, Cast in Antique Brass
Named for Pharos, the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria, this Navigator wall light throws its beam both upward and downward at once, the way a coastal beacon might split its light across sea and shore. In Antique Brass the fixture arrives with a warm, deliberately aged patina already worked into the metal, all soft bronzed tones and quiet shadow in the recesses, so it reads as a fitting that has already earned its place on a wall rather than one waiting to weather in. If you want your exterior lighting to feel settled from day one, this is the finish that gets you there.
How It Works
The body is cast from solid brass, chosen for the way it resists corrosion in salt air and coastal damp rather than just looking the part. Two GU10 lamps (not supplied) sit inside sealed up and down apertures, throwing light in both directions from a single wall mounted body. The fixture carries an IP64 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and against water sprayed from any direction, so rain driven sideways by wind will not trouble it. Cable entry runs through a gland in the rear mounting plate, keeping the wiring hidden and the seal intact once it is fixed to the wall.
Where It Works Best
Pharos suits front elevations, porches, garden walls and anywhere a property needs a strong, architectural marker rather than a soft accent, its up and down beams doing the work of defining an entrance after dark. Against Antique Brass, its siblings sit at opposite ends of the same idea: Raw Brass will polish bright then darken naturally over months outdoors, while Satin Nickel stays cool and silvery throughout its life. Choose this Antique Brass version where the brief calls for a fitting that already looks lived in, alongside ironwork, weathered timber or older brickwork, without the wait for raw metal to tone down on its own.

Questions People Ask
Is the Navigator Pharos wall light safe to use outdoors in coastal areas?
Yes. Its solid brass body and IP64 rating are built specifically for exposure to salt air, rain and wind driven moisture, which is why it carries the Navigator name.
What bulbs does the Pharos Antique Brass wall light take?
It takes two GU10 lamps, which are not included, one lighting the upward beam and one the downward beam.
Will the Antique Brass finish change colour over time like Raw Brass does?
Very little. The aged patina is applied and set into the metal at the outset, so unlike Raw Brass it will not darken or develop new tarnish patterns once it is installed.
