How It Works

Underneath the finish this is a simple, solid piece of engineering. The body is cast from solid brass and paired with a ribbed glass diffuser that softens and spreads the light rather than throwing a harsh beam. It takes a single G9 lamp of up to 25W (not supplied), and if you fit a dimmable G9 bulb the fixture works happily on a mains dimmer too. Cabling enters discreetly at the side via a cable gland, and thumb screws hold the glass in place, so changing a bulb is a two minute job with no tools required. The whole fitting carries an IP44 rating, so it's built to shrug off wind driven rain and coastal damp.
