How It Works

Beneath the Satin Nickel finish is the same solid brass body used across the Wellington range, chosen because it will not rust or corrode outdoors the way cheaper metals do. A clear ribbed glass diffuser spreads light from a single ES/E27 lamp (not supplied), and the fitting is LED compatible. It is rated IP54 against rain and driven spray, wired as a Class 1 fixture that needs an earth connection, and the cable enters through the base so the installation stays neat.

Being the largest lantern in the Wellington family, this suits substantial entrances, driveway gate posts and porch columns where you want real presence rather than a small wall light. Satin Nickel is the one to reach for on newer builds, coastal apartments and rendered or contemporary facades, where the warmer tones of Raw Brass or Antique Brass might look too traditional.
