An Antique Brass Beacon for Salt Air Evenings
There is something reassuring about a light that already looks like it has weathered a storm or two. The Navigator Marina Circular Bulkhead arrives in Antique Brass with a warm, aged tone built in from the start, so instead of waiting years for brass to develop character, you get it from day one. Mount it beside a door, along a garden wall, or over a boat store and it throws a soft circle of warm light that feels like it belongs on a working harbour rather than a showroom shelf.
How It Works
Underneath that antique patina sits a solid brass body, chosen because brass shrugs off salt air and coastal weather far better than painted metal or plastic ever could. A frosted glass diffuser sits over the lamp, spreading the light evenly across the wall rather than throwing a single harsh point of glare. The fixture carries an IP64 rating, so it is sealed against dust and stands up to water thrown at it from any angle, rain included. It takes a single G9 lamp rated up to 25W (not supplied), and if you fit a dimmable G9 bulb you can run it from a compatible dimmer switch. Fixing is straightforward, with a cable entry point at the rear so wiring tucks neatly out of sight once it is on the wall.
Where It Works Best
This is the fixture for spots where you want warmth rather than a cold, clinical glow: porches, entrance steps, garden walls, boundary pillars, or the wall beside a boathouse door. Because the Antique Brass finish already reads as lived in, it sits comfortably against old brick, weathered render, stone cottages, and reclaimed timber, places where a bright new metal finish would look out of place. Set beside its sibling in Satin Nickel, this is the warmer, softer option, better suited to period properties and traditional coastal frontages than to glass and render new builds. Within the wider Navigator range it is also the compact circular option, so where a Palaemon or Pharos bulkhead suits a wide porch, the Marina Circular earns its keep on tighter walls, low boundary pillars, and narrow side returns.

Questions People Ask
What bulb does the Navigator Marina Circular Bulkhead in Antique Brass take?
It takes a single G9 lamp rated up to 25W. The bulb itself is not included, so choose a dimmable G9 if you want to run it on a dimmer switch.
Is the Antique Brass bulkhead tough enough for a wall right by the sea?
Yes. The body is solid brass, which naturally resists corrosion, and the fixture carries an IP64 rating, so driving rain and salt in the air will not trouble it.
Will the antique finish keep darkening once it is outside?
A little, yes. It already carries an aged tone when it arrives, and coastal weather will continue to deepen that character gently over time rather than dulling it.
