Satin Nickel: The Navigator Look in a Cooler Tone
Satin Nickel takes the same mast light silhouette and gives it a crisp, silvery grey surface instead of warm brass tones. It sits well against grey render, pale stone and aluminium window frames, bringing that nautical, industrial shape to newer coastal builds without the deep gold or brown of the brass finishes.
How It Works
The fixture is built on the same solid brass body as the rest of the range, finished in satin nickel, and rated IP54 for outdoor use. It holds a single GU10 lamp, taking bulbs up to 40W (lamp not supplied), with cable entry at the rear to keep wiring out of sight once it is fixed to the wall. Its compact size means it mounts neatly beside doors, on gateposts or along a run of matching fittings.
Where It Works Best
Satin Nickel suits contemporary coastal homes, new builds and properties finished in render, stone or grey brick, where a cooler, more consistent metal tone reads better than warm brass. Entrances, garages and boundary walls all work well. Unlike Raw Brass and Antique Brass, which both develop or already show a weathered brown patina, Satin Nickel keeps a steady, even tone over time, so choose this finish if you would rather the colour stayed put.

Questions People Ask
Does satin nickel suit a modern coastal house better than brass?
Many people choose it for exactly that reason, its cool grey tone tends to sit more naturally against render, stone and pale brick than the warmer brass finishes.
Will satin nickel tarnish or change colour outside like brass does?
It is far more stable than raw or aged brass, so you should not see the same visible weathering, though like any outdoor metal finish it benefits from an occasional wipe down.
Is the satin nickel version the same size as the brass options?
Yes, all three finishes share the same solid brass body and dimensions, 110mm high, 95mm wide and 85mm deep, so it is purely a finish choice rather than a different design.
