The Rivale Table Lamp in Matte White Striped is a compact 13cm tall, 21cm wide handmade ceramic table lamp with the clean graphic precision of the matte white striped finish. The matte white ground and fine hand painted stripes give it a considered quality that works across more interior styles than almost any other finish in the Mullan range. The lamp faces outward and slightly downward, concentrating the warm G9 glow onto the surface below. Because every shade is painted by hand at Mullan Village the striping carries the natural variation of a genuinely handmade piece — the overall impression is clean and graphic but up close you can see it was made by a person.

The G9 lamp sits directly within the ceramic shade, directing warm light onto the surface below and outward into the room. The matte white surface reflects light cleanly at the ceramic edges, adding a brightness and crispness that suits both natural and artificial light. Compatible with dimmable G9 bulbs for full brightness control.

The Story Behind Mullan
Mullan Lighting was founded in 2009 by architect Mike Treanor, who restored a derelict 19th century flax mill in Mullan Village, County Monaghan. The matte white striped finish reflects the bleached stone and whitewashed plaster of the historic buildings surrounding the village. Over 100 craftspeople work at the studio and every piece is made to order using sustainable clay and recycled brass. The studio distributes to more than 55 countries.
