Mullan Lighting was founded in 2009 by architect Mike Treanor, who restored a derelict 19th century flax mill in Mullan Village and built one of Ireland's most respected lighting studios within its walls. The ceramic collection that followed was designed to reflect the heritage of the village, a place whose very name comes from the Irish muileann, meaning mill, and whose identity has always been bound up with making things by hand. With over 100 craftspeople now working in the studio and products sold in more than 55 countries, Mullan occupies a rare position in the lighting world: a brand that is genuinely handmade, genuinely Irish, and genuinely excellent.

The Rivale Matte White Striped table lamp is one of the most versatile in the collection. It sits naturally on a bedside table in a bedroom with a pale, calm aesthetic, and works equally well on a console table in a hallway, a side table in a living room, or a desk in a home office where you want something considered and beautiful rather than purely functional. The matte white finish is particularly effective in rooms with natural textures, warm lighting and soft colour palettes.

Select from clear, frosted or opal glass shades alongside antique brass, antique silver, matte black, polished brass or satin brass fittings. Each lamp is made to order at Mullan Village using sustainable clay and recycled brass, with a lead time of approximately three weeks.
