The Amanita Small Ceramic Table Lamp in Marbled finish is a 37cm tall, 27.5cm wide handmade ceramic table lamp with the timeless visual quality of hand painted marbled stone and a distinctive twin G9 bulb configuration. At 37cm tall and 27.5cm wide it has a proper statement presence on a sideboard, console or side table. The swirling tones of cream, warm grey and natural stone are applied individually at Mullan Village, County Monaghan, before firing. No two pieces carry an identical marbling. The twin G9 bulbs sit within the ceramic body, creating a warm, layered quality of light that fills the room around it with genuine warmth and atmosphere.

How It Works

Two G9 bulbs sit within the ceramic body, creating a warm ambient glow. Both bulbs should be the same type and wattage. A matched pair of warm white dimmable G9 LEDs suits the marbled finish well, the layered depth of the ceramic showing most clearly at lower evening light levels.

The Story Behind Mullan

Mullan Lighting was founded in 2009 by architect Mike Treanor, who restored a derelict 19th century flax mill in Mullan Village, County Monaghan. Ceramicist Stephen Kieran developed the marbling technique by drawing on the layered stone and mineral textures of the Irish landscape. Over 100 craftspeople work at the studio and every piece is made to order using sustainable clay and recycled brass. The studio distributes to more than 55 countries.

Will my lamp look exactly like the photo?
The marbling is hand painted so the pattern on your piece will differ from the photos. The tones will be consistent, cream, warm grey and natural stone, but the character of the marbling is unique to every piece.

What is the difference between the Small and Large Amanita?
The Small Amanita is 37cm tall and 27.5cm wide. The Large Amanita is 50cm tall and 38.5cm wide. Both share the same twin G9 6.5W configuration and marbled finish. Choose based on the scale of the surface you have in mind.

Can I use dimmable bulbs?
Yes. Compatible with dimmable G9 LED bulbs. Ensure your circuit supports dimming. Bulbs not included.

Can I return it?
No. Every Mullan light is made to order, so it cannot be returned unless it arrives faulty or damaged. If anything is wrong when it arrives, please contact us as soon as possible.
