Mitzi Reese 1 Light Large Pendant - Aged Brass

Two shades, one quiet statement

Reese takes the classic pendant shape and adds a second layer. An outer glass shade wraps around a smaller inner shade, with just enough of it showing through to catch the light and hold your eye. A slim metal rim traces the outer shade's edge, giving the whole fixture a finished, tailored look rather than a plain glass globe.

Aged brass finish

The rim and hardware are cast in aged brass, a warm, slightly weathered tone that pairs naturally with the opal glossy glass shade underneath. It reads as understated rather than shiny, so it settles into both traditional and more contemporary kitchens without fighting the rest of the room.

How it works

Reese takes a single E26 bulb rated up to 60W, so it works with either standard incandescent or an LED equivalent. The chain allows the hanging height to be adjusted from around 21.5 to 143 centimetres, and the fixture is finished with a compact 4.75 inch canopy at the ceiling.

Where it works best

Its size and single point of light make Reese a natural fit above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, either on its own or spaced out in a row. It also works well as a statement pendant over a small dining table or in an entryway where you want a bit of sculptural interest overhead.

About Mitzi

Mitzi began as a tribute to one woman's eye: the founder's grandmother, a painter and antique collector who had a gift for finding a beautiful piece without paying over the odds for it. Three generations on, the family business run out of New York's Hudson Valley builds on that same instinct, aiming to put well made, individual lighting like Reese within reach rather than treating it as a luxury reserved for a few.
