A five arm statement that hangs from the ceiling

Where the Olivia sconce holds one glowing arm against a wall, this chandelier multiplies the idea into five, with metal arms reaching outward and down from a central point to suspend five linen shaded lights over a room. It hangs from the ceiling on a length of chain rather than mounting flat against a wall, giving it the presence and spread of a proper centrepiece rather than an accent light.

Aged Brass finish

Finished in Aged Brass, the metalwork has a warm, softly burnished look that Mitzi designs to feel collected over time rather than brand new. Across five arms that warmth reads clearly even from below, making the fixture as much a piece to look up at as a source of light.

How it works

Five E12 candelabra bulbs, each up to 40W (not included), sit inside white linen shades measuring roughly 16cm high and 9cm across. The frame spans about 61cm wide and 62cm from canopy to its lowest point, with 305cm of chain supplied so it can be hung anywhere between roughly 70cm and 199cm overall, and adjusted further for sloped ceilings. The canopy at the ceiling measures 12cm across.

Where it works best

Its width and drop suit a dining table, a stairwell where the chain length can be put to real use, or a double height entrance hall that needs something to fill the space above eye line. Because it hangs rather than sits flush, it needs headroom to work, so it suits rooms with generous ceilings better than a low box room.

• Takes five E12 candelabra bulbs up to 40W each; bulbs not included. Supplied with 305cm of chain and a 12cm ceiling canopy, and is slope ceiling adaptable; at approximately 3.6kg, it should be fixed to a sound ceiling point able to support its weight.
• Moonlight Design recommends installation by a registered NICEIC electrician.
