Mitzi Olivia 1 Light Wall Sconce Light - Polished Nickel

A single arm, torch lit and quietly elegant

Olivia's design centres on one long metal arm sweeping down from a round backplate to hold a glowing linen shade, a shape borrowed from old torch brackets and reworked for modern walls. It is a wall mounted fixture rather than a ceiling piece, sized for a single, considered spot rather than a room filling glow, and it throws light that is soft rather than bright.

Polished Nickel finish

Here Olivia is finished in Polished Nickel, a cool, reflective tone that Mitzi positions as the crisper counterpart to their warmer metals. It suits contemporary schemes and spaces finished in cooler tones, such as marble, glass or pale stone, where a warmer brass could feel out of place.

How it works

The fixture holds a single E12 candelabra bulb up to 40W (not included) inside a white linen shade around 16.5cm tall and 9cm in diameter. Olivia measures close to 48cm in height and 12cm wide, projecting about 10cm out from its 12cm round backplate, keeping it flat enough for narrower hallways or tighter bedside walls.

Where it works best

Think of it in matched pairs either side of a dressing table mirror, spaced along a corridor wall, or as a bedside light where table space is limited. Its slim profile also suits a narrow entrance hall, where a single arm of light adds a welcoming glow without crowding the space.
