The long stem version of Demi
Where the curved Demi sits low and close to the wall, this version carries the same pleated shade up a long straight stem to a height of around 82cm, more than double the curved sconce. It's the taller, more architectural half of the Demi pair.
Soft Black finish
In soft black, the stem reads as a slim dark line up the wall, with the pale pleats of the shade breaking it up near the top. It's a finish that suits contemporary rooms and works equally well against white walls or darker, more dramatic schemes.
How it works
A single E27 (ES) medium base bulb, rated up to 15W, sits inside a pleated linen shade on a steel frame finished in soft black. The fixture measures around 82cm in height and 20cm wide, projects roughly 23cm from the wall, and mounts to a 14cm round backplate.
Where it works best
Its height suits positions where the light source needs to sit higher than a standard sconce, such as beside a tall headboard, along a stairwell, or either side of a large piece of art where a compact sconce would look out of proportion.
