A fluted glass cylinder with a twist

Cecily takes a classic cylindrical wall sconce and gives it an unexpected detail: the glass is cut on the diagonal at each end rather than straight across, so the fixture catches light in a way a plain tube wouldn't. The fluted texture of the clear glass adds further depth without ever feeling fussy, striking a balance between vintage silhouette and a cleaner, more modern finish.

Old Bronze finish

The metal frame and end caps come in Old Bronze, a deep, slightly antiqued tone that lets the fluted glass do the visual work while grounding the fixture in a warmer, more traditional palette than a bright metal finish would.

How it works

This is the small two light version of Cecily, taking two E26 bulbs (compatible with incandescent or LED) on a 120V run. It measures 17.25 inches tall by 4.75 inches wide, projecting 3.5 inches from the wall, with a matching 4.75 by 4.75 inch backplate. It's also genuinely flexible to fit: the sconce can be mounted vertically or horizontally depending on the look and light spread you want in the space.

Where it works best

Cecily suits hallways, staircases and living areas where you want ambient wall light rather than a single bright source, and its dual mounting option makes it easy to adapt to a narrower or wider wall space. It's ADA compliant, so it's also a sound choice for spaces where accessible fixture projection matters.

Cecily comes from Mitzi, a family run lighting company working out of New York's Hudson Valley for three generations now. The brand takes its name from the founder's grandmother, whose talent for spotting a striking piece at a fair price still shapes how the company approaches design today: distinctive fixtures that don't need a luxury price tag to earn their place in a room.
