Mitzi Cecily 2 Light Large Wall Sconce Light - Old Bronze

A shape that catches the eye

At the heart of the Cecily is a tube of clear glass pressed with vertical fluting, then sliced diagonally at each end so the shade never reads as a simple straight cylinder. The angled cut lets light spill unevenly across the ridges, giving the fixture a bit of movement and shadow even when it is switched off.

Old Bronze finish

The Old Bronze finish takes the frame into darker, more weathered territory, a deep bronze with hints of warmth rather than a flat black. It suits rooms built around dark timber, leather, or aged metal accents, and tends to recede into a scheme rather than compete with it, letting the glass shade do the talking.

How it works

This Large size Cecily measures 24.75 inches from top to bottom, fixed to the wall on a 4.75 inch round backplate with a 3.5 inch projection. Two E26 bulbs are needed, each taking up to 75 watts and sold separately, and the bracket allows the light to sit vertically or be turned on its side. The fitting also meets ADA requirements, useful for schemes that need to satisfy accessibility guidelines.

Where it works best

Its height suits places where you want a sconce to hold its own: either side of a fireplace, along a landing, framing a piece of art, or lighting a run of stairs. Because it has genuine presence, it works particularly well paired symmetrically rather than used as a single, isolated point of light.
