The satin black end caps provide a grounding point that stops the chrome and smoked glass from feeling too ethereal or delicate. It's a three part story: bright metal, warm smoked tone, and dark restraint. This finish combination sits comfortably in rooms with slightly more decorative interiors as well as those aimed at clean, modern aesthetics.
How It Works
A single 7W integrated LED delivers 426 lumens of 3000K warm white light dispersed across a 180 degree arc. The fitting uses Class II electrical wiring with double insulation built in, so it's safe without needing an earth connection. IP20 rating means it's sealed against dust but not water, so it's only suitable for dry indoor installation.
Where It Works Best
Living rooms, hallways, dining rooms and bedrooms are all suited to this fitting. The more articulated finish combination means it works particularly well in spaces with some visual texture or layers in the existing decor, where it won't read as too stark or stark.
Design Details
Iron provides the frame structure whilst aluminium makes up the end caps, keeping the overall weight sensible. The smoked glass is rippled throughout its substance, not just on the surface, which ensures consistent light diffusion from any angle. The combination of materials creates a hierarchy: metal at start and end, glass in the middle, with no additional applied ornament needed.

Questions People Ask
Can I install this on a textured wall?
Yes. The surface mounting plates will grip a textured wall just fine, though you may want to check for studs or use appropriate wall anchors depending on your wall type.
What if I want brighter light?
426 lumens is the fixed output from the LED, so there's no way to increase it. If you need more light in the space, you'd be looking at additional fittings rather than using a brighter Milton.
Will the black finish show fingermarks?
Satin finishes are less prone to showing fingermarks than gloss, but they can still be noticeable if the room is particularly dusty. A quick wipe with a soft cloth will remove any marks.
