Here the Milton wall lamp comes with an amber tinted ripple glass shade set against a bronze frame, which warms the light even further and gives the fitting a slightly vintage feel. The ripple texture in the glass breaks up the light so you get a soft glow along the wall rather than a bright spot. Fitted with a G9 lamp holder, it is straightforward to source a suitable bulb.
It is designed for indoor use and suits rooms where you want mood lighting rather than a main overhead source, hallways, snugs, and living rooms all work well. The amber glass and bronze combination leans towards a warmer, more traditional look, and as part of the wider Milton range you can pick from several glass and finish combinations if you are lighting more than one spot.
