How It Works

The 7 watt integrated LED runs at 3000K, and the smoked glass softens this warmth into a gentle, diffused glow that's flattering without being harsh. The ripple surface breaks up the light across the whole shade area, preventing shadows and creating even coverage. It's wired to Class II standards, requiring no earth connection for installation.

Will this be too dim for my hallway?
At 426 lumens, it's not too dim for hallways, though the smoke tint does reduce brightness compared to clear glass. If you need more light, clear ripple on the same frame is available separately.

How does this compare to the amber shade?
Smoke is less tinted than amber, so it softens the light more subtly. Amber is warmer and richer, smoke is more neutral. Both feel relaxing but in slightly different ways.

Can I use dimmers with this?
Unfortunately this fitting isn't dimmable, as the LED is integrated. You'd need to replace the whole unit to get dimming capability.
