Zack's single pendant takes a curved, almost sail like piece of opal glass and hangs it from a slim satin nickel stem, giving one clear point of interest rather than a cluster of shades. It suits a spot where you want the eye to land on one shape.

Satin Nickel and Frosted Glass

This Zack pendant pairs a streamlined satin nickel frame with a hand finished, frosted opal glass shade. The glass has a soft curve rather than a straight cone, so it catches light differently depending on the angle you view it from, while the satin nickel keeps the fitting looking cool and understated rather than shiny.

How It Works

The pendant takes a single E27 lamp, up to 20W, which is not supplied, so you can choose your preferred brightness and colour temperature. If dimming matters to you, use a dimmable lamp together with a compatible dimmer switch, as not every lamp type dims smoothly. The fitting is wired to Class I standards and its drop is set by trimming the cable at the point of installation, so it can be hung anywhere up to a maximum of 200cm below the ceiling.

Where It Works Best

The single Zack pendant suits spots with generous ceiling height where one dramatic drop works better than a cluster, such as beside a kitchen island, above a bedside table or landing pendants over a run of stairs. Where the Zack range's round or linear multi light versions fill a wider space, this single pendant is the version to use where only one point of light is needed.

Made By Mantra

Zack comes from the pen of Jose Ignacio Ballester, who joined Mantra's design team in 2007 and has shaped several of the brand's more sculptural collections since. Mantra itself has been trading out of Valencia since 2000, building a reputation for lighting that looks properly designed without the price tag of a boutique studio brand, and its pieces are now sold well beyond Spain, across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. That combination of a named designer and a company with more than two decades of continuous trading is a large part of what separates Mantra from anonymous own label lighting.
