Gold hardware has a way of catching the eye without shouting, and Mantra's Tobago wall light uses that quality well. A slim gold toned bar with an integrated warm LED, it brings the same clean, architectural language as the rest of the Tobago range, with a metallic finish that adds a little glow of its own even when the light is off.

Choosing Your Finish

Tobago is made in black, white and gold, and each finish is available at 60cm, 90cm and 125cm. This is the 60cm gold version, the shortest length in the range, which makes it a practical choice for spaces where a full length bar would be too much but you still want that warm toned detail. If you like the shape but want more scale, the same gold finish is also available at 90cm and 125cm.

How It Works

A 7W integrated LED runs through the fixture, giving 590 lumens of 3000K warm white light across a 110 degree spread. Because the LED is built in rather than fitted as a separate bulb, there is nothing to replace as the fixture ages. It carries an IP20 rating and Class I electrical classification, so it is intended for dry indoor rooms and needs to be wired into the mains supply, ideally by a qualified electrician.

Where It Works Best

At 60cm this is the most compact Tobago length, well suited to hallways, landings, or either side of a mirror or bed where a 125cm bar would overwhelm the wall. Its 590 lumen output is gentler than the 1010 lumens of the largest 125cm version, making it better suited to accent or mood lighting than as a primary light source in a larger room. The gold finish in particular tends to work well in warmer, more traditional interiors, or as a contrast point in an otherwise monochrome scheme.
