Choosing This Finish

This is the white, wood and clear glass version of Nora, one of three finishes in the range alongside a black and black marble edition with chrome tinted glass, and a gold and white version with a pale marble effect base. The white and wood combination reads the lightest of the three, so it suits pale walls, oak or ash furniture and rooms where you want the fitting to soften into the scheme rather than stand out against it.

How It Works

Nora takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 20W, such as a GLS or tubular LED lamp, and the bulb is not supplied so you can choose the tone and brightness that suits the room. The clear outer glass sits over a frosted inner section that diffuses the light source, giving a soft glow rather than a visible bulb. It is Class I, so it must be wired to earth, and rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms only.

At 35.7cm tall with an 18cm wide shade and a 23cm projection from the wall, Nora sits well either side of a bed, along a hallway, or flanking a mirror in a living or dining room. The white and wood finish leans toward a Scandinavian or natural interior, where the black marble or gold versions in the same range would suit a bolder or warmer scheme instead.
