Choosing This Finish

This is the gold, white and clear glass version of Nora, alongside a white and wood edition and a black and black marble edition in the same range. The brass and marble combination here is the warmest of the three, suiting rooms with existing warm metal accents, or where you want the fitting itself to read as a small piece of decoration rather than blend into the wall.

How It Works

Nora takes a single E27 bulb rated up to 20W, such as a GLS or tubular LED lamp, and the bulb is not supplied so you can choose the brightness and tone yourself. The frosted inner glass diffuses the light source while the clear outer shade lets it spread into the room, and the fitting is Class I, so it must be wired to earth. It carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor rooms only.

Where It Works Best

At 35.7cm tall with an 18cm wide shade and a 23cm projection from the wall, this finish works well in a living room, either side of a bed, or along a hallway with warm toned decor. Compared with the cooler white and wood version in the same range, the gold and marble finish suits a room that already leans toward brass, warm wood or richer colour.
