Nora's taller table lamp works like a miniature glass lantern. An outer shade of clear glass tapers gently towards the top, and inside it sits a smaller frosted glass cylinder that holds the actual light source. You see the warm glow directly through the frosted inner glass, while the clear outer shade simply frames it, rather than diffusing or hiding it.

Here the clear and frosted glass sits on a pale marble effect column with a wide brass toned foot, the lightest and warmest finish in the Nora range. It suits interiors built around cream, warm white or natural wood tones, and works well as a pair either side of a bed or sofa where the brass foot picks up other metal details in the room.

How It Works

The lamp is designed for a single E27 bulb, rated up to 20W, in either a standard GLS A60 or slimmer tubular T45 shape (bulb not supplied). It runs on a Class II electrical connection, so no earth wire is needed, and an inline switch on the cable lets you turn it on and off at the lamp rather than at the socket.

At 33.2cm tall and 18cm across, this is a taller, narrower profile than the ball version in the Nora range, better suited to a console table, sideboard or bedside table where height matters more than footprint. Living rooms, bedrooms, dining rooms and hallways are all listed uses, and its slim base means it fits comfortably on smaller surfaces.
