The Niseko II 90cm takes the same warm halo effect as the rest of the range and scales it up into a full sized ring, finished in matte black. It is the largest fitting in this line up, built to sit as the main light source in a proper living or dining space rather than as an accent piece.

Choosing This Finish

Here the Niseko II wears matte black, a finish that disappears against a dark or neutral ceiling by day and lets the glowing ring do the visual work once it is switched on. Black also tends to suit rooms with black window frames, dark furniture or industrial style fittings elsewhere. The same 90cm ring is not currently offered in other finishes, though the wider Niseko II collection includes smaller sizes and a wood effect option if you are matching fittings across several rooms.

How It Works

A single 78W integrated LED sits behind the acrylic diffuser and produces 6200 lumens, considerably more output than the smaller Niseko II sizes, which is what allows a fitting this size to properly light a room on its own. Colour rendering is above 80 CRI, and the white balance is tuneable from 2700K through 3000K and 4000K up to 5000K via the supplied remote control, so the same fitting can move from a relaxed evening glow to a brighter white for cleaning or hosting. It has an IP20 rating for standard dry ceilings and is Class I, so it needs to be properly earthed.

Where It Works Best

At 90cm in diameter this is a genuine centrepiece, suited to larger living rooms, open plan kitchen diners or double bedrooms where a single flush fitting needs to do the work of several smaller lights. Because it sits flush to the ceiling rather than hanging down, it also suits rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would feel too low, while still giving a strong visual presence thanks to its scale.
