At 78cm across, the Niseko II ring stops being a discreet accent and becomes the main event on the ceiling. The wide white band frames a broad, even glow that spreads light generously across a room rather than pooling it in the centre, which suits spaces that need to work hard rather than just look good.

A Confident White

Finished in white, this version is built to blend into a light ceiling by day and disappear once switched on, leaving only the glowing ring visible. It is a good choice where you want the fitting itself to be unobtrusive and let the light do the talking, rather than making a design statement in black or gold. The same Niseko II shape is also produced in black, gold and a wood effect finish and in several other diameters, so a smaller ring in a hallway or landing can echo this one without being identical to it.

How It Works

A single 58W LED is built into the fitting and diffused around the inside of the ring, producing 4700 lumens across a 145 degree beam angle with a CRI above 80. Colour temperature is tuneable from 2700K through to 5000K using the remote control supplied with the light, letting you move between a warm evening glow and a brighter, cooler white for daytime tasks. Dimming and colour temperature are both handled by the fitting's own driver, so no separate wall dimmer is needed.

Where It Works Best

This is the largest ring in the Niseko II range, which makes it best suited to a sizeable living room, open plan kitchen diner or main bedroom where a single fitting needs to light the whole ceiling rather than one corner of it. In a smaller room the light output and 78cm footprint would be disproportionate, so the 50cm or 38cm versions in the same range are the better fit for bedrooms, hallways or box rooms.
